Some brands are discovered; others are savoured. Founded in 1837 by Marc-Henri de Venoge, the house has spanned nearly two centuries of Champagne history, from Mareuil-sur-Aÿ to the Avenue de Champagne in Épernay. Its official arrival in the DR Congo called for a launch worthy of that heritage.
The challenge: introducing a great house to a discerning audience, used to the finest bottles, and making them want to adopt it as their signature. It was not just about tasting a Champagne, but about welcoming guests into a world.
Rochas Events designed and produced the launch evening, from scenography in the house's colours to guest welcome, including the staging of the tasting of its various cuvées.
Soft lighting, refined decor, attentive service: every detail was designed so that guests would discover de Venoge the way one discovers a great house, with time to appreciate it. A first encounter, and the beginning of a Congolese story.
